Sustainable Building Solutions was hired to conduct an energy audit for The Wisconsin Gas Light Building located at 626 East Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee. This building is a classic stepped Art Deco tower designed by architects Eschweiler & Eschweiler and completed in 1930 using different materials on the exterior to graduate from dark to light. The 150,000SF high-rise office building houses a variety of office tenants and SBS provided guidance to the building manager by benchmarking energy use and exploring ways to reduce energy use and costs.
